Fierce yellow eyes! Gleaming golden scales. And a face you just can't say no to.
A work of art by American sculptor Christopher Ross, this highly detailed metal snake is an heirloom piece to wear and pass down to someone very special. You'll tell them stories of what you wore, where you wore it, and how people reacted to the epic snake wrapped about your waist. A conversation starter and perfect piece for the art jewelry aficionado.
Vintage gold plated metal, glass, and snakeskin. Buckle made by Christopher Ross, 1980, excellent condition. Snakeskin band by Ruza, good vintage condition with a small section of loose scales at the end that folds under the buckle. (While the band remains in totally wearable condition, please note that the inherent value in this piece is the buckle.) Adjustable band fits up to a 35" waist.

There are four types of snake locomotion. The movement Mr. Ross emulated in this animal is sidewinding - when the snake bends sideways and vertically, for example to skirt hot desert sand.
