Vintage Japanned metal with glass and resin gems. (Resin rather than glass gems help temper the weight of this immense piece.) Hook clasp. Marked Moans; Made in USA. Young vintage, early 2000s. Paneled section is 12” long while the entire necklace measures 18” from hook to end of chain (wearable at 15-18”). Drop of the longest section in front is just under 5 inches.
For size reference, dress form has a 39” bust and neck of 14-15 inches. Human model has a 32" bust and 12-13 inch neck.
Very good condition with minor imperfections in some of the stones. This most fabulous collar was treasured as a showpiece by the previous owner, once only once or twice.
