Fierce Claw Necklace

Regular price $145.00 Sale

You’ll tear their hearts out when you wear this super fierce necklace! Three razor sharp claws dangle from a string of edgy golden beads. Totally 1980's glam rock, but makes a modern statement today. A rare and unusual find.

Vintage gold plated metal beads (on original string) with large spring ring clasp. Mark: Kenneth Lane 1980’s logo. Approximately 15.5" long with 1" claws. Mild wear to the edges of the gold finish. Shown on mannequin in indoor evening light. Box shows afternoon natural light. (Lion paw jewelry box available under a separate listing.)

From birds to bears and big cats, hundreds of animals have sharp claws. What are they used for in nature? Mostly catching prey and holding them tight! But also climbing trees, self defense, and even grooming.

Tiger claws have a sordid history in human adornment, and tiger parts such as claws continue to be illegally traded today. In light of that, a portion of your purchase will go toward tiger conservation.
