An unusual color combo distinguishes this fabulous serpent brooch from the rest. Khaki painted enamel and faux turquoise gems cover his squiggly coiled body, with red eyes that pop and a smirking expression. Diamanté crystals crown his entire head - a perfect match for your other crystal and turquoise accented jewels.
Vintage cold enamel with glass and plastic gems, estimated 1960s. Measures 2" wide. Set on a 1.5" pin with safety clasp. This brooch has Fashioncraft vibes, but is unmarked so we are not sure who made it. Very good condition with a few fleabites to the khaki finish (visible with zoom on third and fourth photo).
Various species of garter snakes, in the genus Thamnophis, live throughout the US. They range from blueish to greenish to brown. Long, thin, and fairly adaptable, they can make a living not far from humans, hence their appearance in gardens and driveways. But fear not the friendly garter snake. They are non venomous and help control pests in your garden!
