A coppery salamander crawls across your shoulder, tiny toes clinging to you, and tail curved for balance. Super cute as part of a wildlife brooch pack!

Gilt silver with crystals. Marked Sterling. Unknown maker. Measures 3.5" long. Wear to finish and mismatched eyes give this little guy loads of vintage charm.

Red-spotted or Eastern newts have a complicated scientific name (Notophthalmus viridescens) and an even more complicated lifecycle. As larvae, they're gilled and waterbound. As efts (juveniles) they turn bright orangey red, develop lungs, and live on forest floors. Then adults keep the lungs but live in water again, and turn olive green with red and black dots. Not only are they fascinating but they help us out by eating tons of mosquito larvae! You can protect newts and other small wildlife by not throwing out your Fall leaves. Feather & Foxglove shares a portion of sales to support wildlife conservation and animal welfare.
