Channel-set paste diamonds line the intricately designed silver body of your very own Art Deco serpent. Delicate scales and enchanting red eyes decorate her sweet face. Even her nostrils are pretty. No detail was spared in the creation of this fantastic triple coiled snake band.

Antique sterling silver and faux gems. Marked Sterling. Made for a wrist or small arm, she measures approximately 7.5" along the inner circumference, with a band less than 1/4" wide. Good antique condition, with marks of a life well-lived. One eye is slightly chipped and one stone along the back was replaced imperfectly - we chose to respect her past and leave these stones in place rather than risk any possible damage. A lovely lady she is...imagine what she has seen and who has worn her!

There are four types of snake locomotion: Serpentine : “lateral undulation” or sexy side-to-side movement for watery or hard surfaces. Sidewinding : bending sideways and vertically, for example to skirt hot desert sand. Rectilinear : tiny movements in the stomach send them straight forward, to navigate narrow passageways. And, finally, Concertina : coiling up then shooting themselves forward.
