Undeniably the prettiest of all ducks, a real male Wood Duck (Aix sponsa) has sexy red eyes and patterns but also sports a fancy crest. And their stunning appearance isn't all that sets the species apart - these unusual ducks get their name from a very un-ducky habit of nesting in tree cavities. They have claws that allow them to climb, and their babies can leap down from high in the trees without getting hurt.
