On Tuesdays, she teaches Herpetology 101, Amphibian Evolution, and two sections of Advanced Field Research Methods. She's the only biology professor who wears lipstick and high heels. Dark red lipstick, of course. She drives a maroon Volvo wagon. (In it, she secretly allows herself one French cigarette as she drives to work on those busy Tuesdays...shhh don't tell her students). Deep reds are her favorite for everything from wine to handbags. Naturally, this purse with frog accents is her very favorite bag. Is it yours too?

Python bag by Judith Leiber, circa 1980's. Features one interior zipper pocket and one slip pocket. Bag body measures 6" tall; 9-10" wide at base, 6-7" wide at top; 3-4" deep. Tuckable strap has a 20" drop. Good vintage condition with a touch of wear to scales and minor fading at the edges, as reflected in price.

Herpetology comes from the Greek words for "creeping animal" and "knowledge." This branch of biology covers the study of all amphibians (like frogs, toads, salamanders) and reptiles (snakes lizards, turtles).
