With a body made of slinky-like chain, this red eyed serpent is happy at your waist or your neck. (Warning: coils may be pinchy on tiny hairs!) With an unusual style, fun details, and a brilliant design that fits a variety of waistlines, we adore this crimson eyed beauty and know you will too!
Vintage gold plated metal and crystals. Unmarked. Estimated 1960-70's. Head measures 1.5" long; belt is 27" with maximum stretch to 45. Very good condition with wear to finish at edges of head. Remarkably there are no gaps or bends in the coil. A rare find.
There are four types of snake locomotion: Serpentine: “lateral undulation” or sexy side-to-side movement for watery or hard surfaces. Sidewinding: bending sideways and vertically, for example to skirt hot desert sand. Rectilinear: tiny movements in the stomach send them straight forward, to navigate narrow passageways. And, finally, Concertina: coiling up then shooting themselves forward.
