Vintage gilt metal and cloisonné enamel. Chinese, late 20th Century. Measures approximately 3.25" across dish and 1.5" tall. Very good condition with slight age to the gilding.
Lotus flowers and water lilies look almost identical. Both the leaves and blossom of a lotus (Nelumbo) rise gracefully above the water, while water lilies (Nymphaea) float on the surface.
